Mentoring

One-on-One Mentoring for Clarity, Connection, and Growth

Some people come to my work through events and keynotes. Others come because they want personal clarity in their own relationships, leadership, or life.

Mentoring is where we slow things down and apply the same frameworks I teach on stage—directly to your situation.

How Mentoring Is Different From Speaking

Speaking creates shared understanding across a group.

Mentoring is personal.

In mentoring sessions, we focus on:

  • Your specific relationships or challenges

  • How you think and process

  • How others around you may be perceiving things differently

  • Practical adjustments that feel aligned—not forced

This is not therapy, and it’s not generic coaching.

It’s perspective-based mentoring designed to help you see situations more clearly so better decisions and connections follow naturally.

What We Work On

Mentoring is especially helpful if you’re navigating:

  • Relationship tension or ongoing misunderstandings

  • Leadership or team challenges

  • Communication breakdowns

  • Motivation or decision paralysis

  • Faith, identity, or life-direction questions

The goal is not to fix people.

The goal is to understand what’s actually happening—and respond in a way that builds trust and connection.

The Framework We Use

Mentoring sessions draw from the same core ideas I teach in my keynotes:

  • BE/DO Thinking — understanding motivation, effort, and identity

  • Big Picture vs. Detailed Thinking — understanding focus and blind spots

  • The A.C.T. Method — Assess, Connect, Trust

Together, these give you language for differences without blame, and tools to engage others without shame or control.

What You Can Expect

People often describe mentoring as:

  • Clarifying

  • Grounding

  • Relieving

  • Hope-restoring

You’ll leave sessions with:

  • Greater understanding of yourself and others

  • Clear next steps that fit who you are

  • Less emotional charge around conflict

  • More confidence in how you communicate

Who Mentoring is For

Mentoring may be a good fit if you:

  • Want insight, not labels

  • Value understanding over blame

  • Are open to seeing blind spots kindly

  • Want lasting change, not quick fixes

This work is especially meaningful for individuals, couples, leaders, and parents.
